When assembling car brake discs, the correct brake disc must be chosen before each stage of production. Since there are many different types of discs, these have to be sorted accordingly before mounting them onto the respective vehicle. As the discs are identical in terms of their shape, height, and diameter, the only distinctive feature is a gap between two ventilation blades. The distance between the blades varies between 15mm and 35mm. Due to the gapCONROL 2611-100 from Micro-Epsilon, the gap measurement for sorting the brake discs is very simple.
